This Traditional Handcrafted Da Hong Pao is more than just tea—it's a tribute to time-honored craftsmanship and the quiet strength of “old-school” Wuyi rock teas. Unlike industrially processed teas, this version follows a fully manual production process, from hand-picking and withering to rolling, roasting, and re-firing—guided entirely by the hands and instincts of experienced tea artisans. It may take several months to complete a single batch.

The tea leaves are sourced from traditional cultivar tea trees grown in the core Zhengyan area of Wuyi Mountain. The blending is skillfully balanced to capture the terroir’s original charm while harmonizing multiple varietal traits. The dry leaves are tightly twisted and glossy dark brown. Once brewed, the liquor is deep amber-red and crystal clear, with an aroma that is subtle yet persistent, carrying aged wood, soft fruit, and light fire-roast notes.
