Product Description:
Phoenix Dancong is a celebrated high-aroma oolong tea originating from Fenghuang Mountain in Guangdong Province. Known for its wide variety of natural fragrance types, the "Osmanthus" style is especially prized for its elegant floral sweetness and lingering finish.

This tea is made from spring-picked tender leaves from old tea trees growing at high altitudes. It is crafted using traditional charcoal roasting and light oxidation techniques. The dry leaves are tightly twisted and dark with a glossy sheen. When brewed, the liquor is a bright golden-yellow with a vivid floral aroma.

Its fragrance reveals distinct layers—initial infusions emphasize strong osmanthus notes, complemented by hints of fruit and honeyed peach. As steeping progresses, the floral notes recede and the rich body of the tea takes center stage. The mouthfeel is smooth and full-bodied, with a long-lasting sweet finish and virtually no bitterness or astringency.

This tea is best enjoyed using the Gongfu brewing method with a gaiwan, which enhances the layered aroma and taste. Ideal for daily appreciation or for serving to guests.
