Description:
Jin Jun Mei is one of the most renowned high-end black teas in China, traditionally handcrafted from tender spring buds grown in the Wuyi Mountains. This version is made from the premium Meizhan cultivar, known for its rich, full-bodied liquor and naturally sweet character.

The tea delivers a smooth and rounded mouthfeel, featuring layered notes of floral fragrance, honeyed sweetness, and malty richness. The overall profile is well-balanced and gentle, with a long-lasting, refreshing finish. When brewed properly, it shows virtually no bitterness, resulting in a clean and elegant taste.

While it performs well in a standard teapot, we highly recommend using the gongfu brewing method with a gaiwan to fully unlock the depth and complexity of its flavor. The first few infusions highlight floral and honeyed top notes, while later steeps reveal caramel and cocoa undertones. Depending on your preference, it can yield 8 to 10 infusions.

Each bud-and-leaf pair is carefully hand-picked and processed through multiple meticulous steps, preserving the natural tea oils within. The resulting brew is a clear golden amber, aromatic and full of flavor.
